Yamaha R125 Brake Pad Replacement

You will need:
  • 13mm spanner or socket/ratchet.
  • Pliers.
  1. Remove the two bolts holding the calliper to the calliper-hanger using a 13mm spanner or socket.
  2. Slide the calliper off the brake-disc.
  3. Remove the two R-clips from the pin at the bottom edge of the calliper that holds the pads in and slide the pin out.
  4. Remove the old brake-pads.
  5. Using the end of pliers or another blunt object to push the piston(s) as far back into the calliper as they will go.
  6. Insert the new brake-pads.
  7. Slide the pin back in through the holes in the new brake-pads and replace the R-clips.
  8. Slide the calliper back over the brake-disc and replace the two 13mm bolts.

Tidy Brembo 2-pot callipers.
Tidy EBC Red-Stuff pads are dope, but take a while to warm up.
Tidy job.
